We Ship Internationally

BearGrylls.com ships internationally, with all orders currently being fulfilled from our warehouses based in the United Kingdom. For your peace of mind, all orders are shipped as Tracked, with the exception of the Standard (Untracked) shipping option which is available in the United Kingdom.

All orders are shipped by either Royal Mail or DPD, depending on the weight and destination of your order. Orders placed by noon GMT/BST will be shipped on the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following working day.

Once your shipment has left our warehouse you will receive an email containing full details of how you can track the delivery of your order.

Orders must be received by noon GMT/BST to be eligible for next day shipping. All orders placed after this time will be processed and shipped the following day using the Next Day (Tracked) service. Orders received at the weekend or on a bank holiday will be shipped on the next working day to arrive the following working day. Next Day (Tracked) shipments apply to Mainland UK destinations only, and may take longer for remote areas, islands and during exceptionally busy periods such as Christmas.

International Payments

International orders from BearGrylls.com are currently processed in pound sterling (GBP). The exchange rate you receive on your order will be determined by your bank or credit card provider, who may add additional administration charges to process your payment to us.


Product Restrictions

Regulations prohibit us from sending certain products to certain locations. Any delivery restrictions relating to specific products will be highlighted within product descriptions and during checkout where applicable. If you place an order for a product that we cannot deliver to you, we will place a hold on your order and contact you to inform you. Any costs associated with the prohibited products in your order – and any additional shipping costs incurred as a result of you placing the order containing them – will be refunded to you before shipping takes place.


Shipping Costs

Our shipping costs include all handling, packaging and postage costs. Handling and packaging costs are fixed, whereas postage costs vary according to the total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders that were placed separately into one shipment – as a result, shipping costs will apply to each individual order.


Packaging

Your order will be shipped at your own risk, but special care will be taken to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized and your items will be well protected before they are packed and shipped.


Import Duty

Details of import duty and customs clearing differ by delivery service - please check with your selected delivery service (either Royal Mail or DPD) for more details. It is your responsibility to pay these charges before you can receive your delivery.


RETURNS

We will accept a return of your items for a full refund for any or no reason, provided we are notified within 30 days of receipt of delivery.

Only items purchased directly from our online store can be returned using the procedure described below. If you purchased your items at a retail store or from another website, these items must be returned to the original store or site from which they were purchased.

If for any reason you are not happy with your items, please follow the Returns Procedure outlined below. We reserve the right to refuse the return of items which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Procedure and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you. Our Returns Procedure does not affect your statutory rights.


Incorrect Item(s)?

Please report all shortages, damages or discrepancies in your shipment within 14 days of receipt. We will then raise an investigation and respond as necessary.


Unsuitable Item(s)?

You may return items to us at any time within 28 days of receipt for a refund (excluding any delivery charges incurred) if the item is "as new". We class "as new" condition as unused and packaged as dispatched.


Faulty Item(s)?

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us within 28 days of receipt detailing your original order number and details of the problem. We will assess the issue immediately and, where necessary, arrange for repatriation of the goods for inspection. If the item subsequently deemed faulty due to a manufacturing issue, we will process a refund for both the purchase cost of the items, and also any postage costs* incurred within 14 days of receipt.

Please note, we reserve the right not to refund return postage costs if they are deemed too expensive. Please contact support@beargrylls.com if your expected return postage cost exceeds £20 GBP.


Shipping Costs

Your items must be returned with shipping costs prepaid, and we recommend the use of an insured parcel service, such as Royal Mail in the UK, or DPD internationally. When returning items we recommend that you obtain proof of posting and a parcel tracking number in order to claim for loss in the unlikely event that your product goes missing. You are responsible for all shipping and handling costs on returned items and you bear the risk of loss during shipment.

However you choose to return your items to us, the items remain your responsibility until received by us, so please take reasonable care of the items you are returning. It is essential that any returned items (unless faulty) are returned in "as new" condition, so please ensure that your return is packed and sealed securely - in or with the original packaging if possible.

Your refund will be processed within 14 days of our receipt of your "as new" items. Your refund will be credited back to the same method of payment you used to make your original purchase.

We are only able to process your return and issue your refund once we've received your product. We cannot issue refunds for items we do not receive, and we may withhold your refund or charge you for items that are received in defaced, used, soiled or damaged condition.

Please note that perishable items cannot be exchanged or refunded except where items are received in error or with visible faults.


Returns Procedure

If you would like to return your items, please follow this process.

    1. A Returns Form was sent to you via email when you originally purchased the items. Please print and complete the Returns Form, being sure to note:

      1. The Quantity of items you are returning,
      2. The Reason Code for why you are returning the items, and
      3. Any additional comments.

    2. Package your items securely, ensuring the completed Returns Form is included.
    3. Then post your package back to us as follows:

      1. For customers in the United Kingdom, please use Royal Mail Tracked Returns to generate a free returns label. You can then drop your parcel off at any UK Post Office to be returned for free. Please be sure to retain your proof of postage.
      2. Or for customers elsewhere in the Rest of the World a carrier of your choice to this address:

Exchanges

Please note we do not offer exchanges. Instead, if you require alternative products than those you originally ordered:

      1. Please return the unwanted items to us for a full refund using the Returns Procedure outlined above, and
      2. Place a new order on our website for the product(s) you require.

This is the fastest way to receive your alternative product(s).


Refunds

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of returned items, after they have been fully inspected by our Returns team and subject to the aforementioned terms.


Legal

This Returns Policy is in addition to, and exceeds, your Statutory Rights. Customers' statutory rights are not affected by any of these terms of trading. In the event of any dispute, English law shall apply.
